Welcome to Card-Cheap: Digital Gift Cards in Under a Minute
Gift cards used to mean a trip to a shop, a paper card on a shelf, and the quiet panic of losing it before wrapping day. Digital gift cards remove all of that: the code arrives by email, it cannot be misplaced in a coat pocket, and it can be forwarded to whoever you meant it for. This post walks through how that works on Card-Cheap, from cart to inbox.
Ordering, step by step
- Browse the catalog. The shop lists every brand we carry, with denominations shown up front — no “from $25” surprises at checkout.
- Pick a denomination. Steam, Amazon, Google Play and the rest come in several values; choose the one that fits your budget or the gift.
- Check out. Enter the email that should receive the code and complete the payment. No account is required to place an order.
- Read your email. Delivery is the whole point: the code and its redemption instructions land in the inbox you gave us, usually within minutes of payment confirmation.
If an email is slow to arrive, the order tracking page shows the current state of your order without needing to contact support.
Before you redeem
Two minutes of checking saves most redemption problems:
- Match the region. A US-region card will not redeem on a Japanese account. Product pages state the region next to the price — read it once before you buy.
- Match the currency. The card’s face value is fixed in its own currency; the store shows approximate display prices to help you compare, but the code itself redeems at face value.
- Keep the code private. Treat an unredeemed code like cash: anyone who reads it can spend it. Redeem it promptly and delete the email if you do not plan to use it yet.
That is the entire flow. The rest of this blog covers deeper topics — keeping codes safe, timing purchases around gift-card seasons, and getting the most out of denominations — but the core promise stays the same: choose a brand, pay once, and the code is in your inbox.
